Tuesday, 2 August 2016 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM EST

FSCJ Kent Campus, 3939 Roosevelt Blvd, Jacksonville, FL, 32205, United States.

The start of the school year is right around the corner and there's so much to do! Despite all of the crazy, it's important to set aside some time to think about what YOU want to do with the year. What ideas do you want to develop? What is going to get you EXCITED about the next school year? Center Director Susan Reilly and others will show you some of the things that have them excited for the next year. Everything will be tied to a solid curriculum and standards. We'll do a little of everything - Disneynomics, the economics of chocolate, the black market, virtual study abroad using Periscope, gardening, and music. NOTE: This workshop is designed to be stacked with an afternoon workshop on Understanding Fiscal Responsibility. You don't have to sign up for both but it is encouraged! Breakfast, lunch, and all workshop materials are provided at no charge.
